I have always been a fan of photography. In the plainest terms, I always like being behind the camera instead of in front of it. I love taking pictures, to the point my kids sometimes tell me "enough dad."
I have always envied people who had DLSR cameras. So when a yearly bonus from work came around I jumped in. I stared with a Nikon D60, had quick plans to sell the "kit" lenses and go for a little better lens. After meeting another local photographer the wheels started spinning really fast. Soon the D60 was on the chopping block. I love shooting action sports, motor sports, just plain sports. It was time to upgrade the main body.
My new photo friend talked about going night shooting. He spoke of the joy it brings him. After looking at the images he had come back with I had to meet up with him and give it a shot. After that night, it's been full steam ahead. To look at a picture you can capture with no light and the proper settings is amazing.
My camera pretty much is in my car permanently, "You never know what you might see"
